I know it's not allowed to take out the Sonic 3 out of the Sonic and Knuckles Cartridge, or use Sonic 3 and Knuckles on Collection Games, but is it allowed to have them separate, if that makes sense, for only level runs? Example: Playing as Knuckles in Mushroom Hill Zone in Sonic and Knuckles without the Lock-On Ability.
We are looking at possibly adding Level Leaderboards to S3 over at https://www.speedrun.com/s3 for the S3 half. But that won't likely be done for a while.
Would be undecided on MH from SK half as it's the only level that changes between S3K and SK.
As of today, any new submissions of S3K from the Steam version will no longer be allowed. This is due to a couple of factors but mostly being inhibited availability as SEGA delisted it when releasing Origins. Any existing runs will remain unaffected.
