I see absolutely no one using the potions in their speedruns and I still can't find the reason why. Can anyone tell me?

No, we cant use potions for the Backdoor since its in the rules

You can't use rift to get any item at all, rift is not allowed.

For The Rooms, there are Category Rules, that say that you aren't allowed to use the Vial, Bottle and Barrel of Starlight.

And for Category Extensions, I think they aren't allowed neither (for individual levels like Library, Electrical Room, the Nest and the Dam).

So you can only use them in Backdoor and All Floors, as you get those items during the run.
