Was just a little confused by a lack of info, im guessing all runs have to be run on default settings right? Is keepinventory allowed, and do we need to set the difficulty to peaceful? Is there a specific version of Pixelmon we need to use, and im guessing this is a no brainer but pauses are allowed correct?

Also had problems where I would set my thing's to default and legendaryspawntick would be set at 3000, but when I made a new singleplayer world it would set it to 25000, which one of these is correct?

Hi, yes default settings are neccesary. You cant use any commands while in the speedrun. Pauzes are allowed. Legendary spawn rate is optional. But you need to say it in the description of the run

I'm interested in trying this speedrun for 100% pokedex completions but I have a few questions for this.

1. If I go through the ultrabeast portal and suffocate to death , am I able to gain back what I lost ?
2. 100% pokedex doesn't include all the other variants of a certain pokemon right? For example AZ Floette , rainbow variants , alolan variants and etc.
3. You mentioned something about legendary spawn rate? Am I allowed to modify the ratio?
4. How am I to trade some pokemon to get it into the next evolution? Example gengar etc.
5. What if a pokemon spawns and is extremely rare like spiritomb and another pokemon attack it and kills it? Thanks !

Well, because of all those pokemon I think it wouldn't be possible to do that category, so I will be changing it.

I will be adding some categories with only 1 gen so it would be shorter and easier to do

I mean I could try the 100% pokedex challenge. With how long it takes to complete , I'm thinking it would be one of the hardest challenges in speedrun. Undoubtfully might take more than a month tho.... Seems like a fun challenge to try.

I was looking at doing a 100% playthrough but you cant obtain the trade only pokemon in singleplayer :(
