Hey MyHouse runners,

Recently we have figured out how to properly retime runs. The Rules are as follows:

• level timer with milliseconds needs to be enabled
• time starts on the first frame time advances on the timer
• time ends depending on the category/ending, being:
• for Blue Keycard Exit/Mirror World Exit/Abandoned House Ending/Burned House Ending: on the last frame before the screen starts to transition
• for Fake Beach Ending: on the first frame the screen goes black after hitting the clapper
• for True Ending: on the first frame the text "A Secret Has Been Revealed!" appears
• for QR Code Ending: on the first frame the QR code is visible on the screen

Because of this, we'd like to request every verified speedrunner to resubmit their runs, should they wish for retiming. This is especially the case for runs that contain multiple levels, such as the All Endings and All Weapons categories. Runs verified on the 4th of July 2023 and newer do not need to do this.

Additionally, with the influx of runners submitting the runs, we'd like to start looking for more verifiers!

Duties include:

• verification and retiming of runs
• participation in any investigations, should any be needed

Experience required:

• having at least 1 verified run of this DOOM mod
• being recognized and active on our Discord server

oh hi,

it has occurred to us that some runners do not use the GZDoom's in-game timer when doing runs when we rely on that for retiming runs. Because of this, we're clarifying game rules to enforce this to all new and existing runs, with a guide on how to do that coming up shortly. hopefully, this will clear up any uncertainties regarding this.
