Using this, you can actually jump down from where the Life Raft is, all the way down onto the door next the one you usually land on (the one that is further towards the center of the ship)

Hey, Desch. Thank you for sharing this thought. Actually, I do use diagonal running sometimes, but mostly during the exploring the lower decks, when the corridors have a lot of turns. I'll try to check your method

Also about this jump on the further door from the 7th deck. I tried to perform this trick in 2017, but mostly I failed to do so and then I just gave up it and either jumped on the nearest door or simply jumped to the LR gates to activate the trigger before the death
