First off, I'd like to apologize as i forgot to check my emails for Chris's response, he sent out an update on the 8th of April and I just read the email today. To enable the timer: set the launch options of the game to be --speed-run and it'll start with a timer in the top left corner.

If anybody needs help, just reply to this post and I'll show you how to get there.
