This is the most efficient spot and most braindead Spot (only works with the Crystal Breaker Gadget!).
The moment the Energy shows as "pending" on your bar you can pause and restart the level without losing anything. You can also kill the enemies in the first room, but in my opinion it's not as efficient as just restarting

Magic guide

First, the "dodge+kick" makes you faster when you have a target, the earliest possible, the kick will get a range bonus,the punch has less range which is slower.EXTRA:The sommersault can go over certain ledges,it cancels the kick and you can experiment it right at the very beginning.In French:i would say "glisse-pied" and "glissade".

-the red can teleport to ennemies, attracted by their vital energy i suppose. The "sommersault+kick" is strong and short (release the trigger or you're going to do an underpowered-costly tornado),the long punch is shorter if you're strong enough.

EDIT:the longpunchTornado is the fastest attack against precise ennemies:the isolated armored goblin and insect like in 7-1.The tornado can also end your dodgespam more fluidly than the kick that has more range.This thing is very weak and costly:an use for fighting is exceptional but less than the next example.

EDIT:in his 9-2 run,Drint did one and attacked earlier with a dodgepunch without explanation.Certainly that he held the dodge stick which cancels the tp apparently.The fastest attack of all,you have to TP from the ground during a dodgespam.Two of it may be better than the sommersault or the green light shot against two fragile targets and you have to wonder why he just mashed the punch instead (the second attack may be something easier to do).

Some shortcuts exist,it may look smart but you just need to check the range by mashing triangle,even if it's only for speed.EXAMPLE:in 6-4;ignore the yellow platform,reach the lever from the bloc,levitate before shrink,then,you can teleport later.

-green:the light shot plays at your place many times and while you run, the strong one destroys everything around like the blue explosion différentely (the aerial version is bigger,the gold version is slower in recovery,not just because you cannot double tap it for a maximal effectiveness).

-brown:devastating in a few level usually when Knack is giant.Combinable to the dodge:"dodgeslash or saber".

I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE DODGEJUMP:you can jump out of a dodge,the strange thing is that it's horribly hard to do in NG+ and i don't know what upgrade does that,it isn't the speed increase and i hope it's not the dodgekick.So,the dodgejump is spamable in NG for a superior speed,i would say that the NG+VERY HARD MAGICLESS category is the more captivating idea.

The punch is simple and effective

The kick is better but weaker,can be defensive without chain,the secret is to knockout small targets.

So the punch/kick duality is largely defined by the size of Knack.

The air kick is the best approach move,perfect if it KO in one attack.

The bodyslam is highly unsatisfysing,many players and reviewers made the mistake of using it instead of the kick.

The others are explained by the game,a far paralysis can be followed by a grab,the ennemy with a circular saw can be reached by a long punch.

The multi punch is your strongest attack but the startup is slow,you can incorporate it in a chain of punches.The airkick is better than the shockwave after.

The somersault+kick is the main combo,strong,fast,even on two targets.Can reflect the projectiles.

NG+ Guide

First of all how to do the two most important glitches:

Super Jump: (You need Energy) Hold L2 and press "Square", then at the right moment press "Triangle" and "Circle" (Note: You can change Size during the Jump)

Infinite Dashing: (You need Energy, but it won't consume it) Hold L2, hold the right control stick into the  direction you want to dash and spam "Circle".

Now to the skips:

There are a lot of small time saves in areas where you have to get somewhere that is just slightly higher than Knacks normal jump height. In nearly all of those cases it is possible to use the Super Jump to get on top.

If there is anything important to note about a skip it will be written here:

2-4 (3): After this skip you will have to kill yourself at some point before the final part of the level, otherwise the level won't finish. You might be able to kys when fighting the enemies at the end (I didn't try that yet).

3-2: Since you have to downsize during the jump it can be quite tricky.

4-3 (1): As far as I'm aware you can't just Super Jump over those fences.

5-1 (1-3): It is possible to chain all 3 of them together.

5-2 (1): The camera doesn't always follow you so it can be impossible to do that skip.

5-2 (2): Rng in my opinion.

5-3: Keep jumping on that first ledge or you will fall off

5-4 (2-3): I think you have to do those skips in that order, but not sure.

6-2 (1): Not sure if there is a precise way of doing that skip, but i don't get it every time.

6-2 (2): You will need 1 extra relic container (there is one if you take the intended path). Also to make the following fight easier you want to kys on the enemies to reset their position, otherwise they might not be reachable for you.

6-3: If you fall into the arena without triggering the cutscene you will softlock the game.

7-4 (1): There is a gap you can fall down into so be careful.

7-4 (3): If you go a bit more to the right first it will change the camera and make the skip safer.

8-1 (4): It is faster to just get over the gap by double jumping -> gliding -> dash.

10-1: Possible to do on all of those robots in 10-1.

NG+ speedrun in 7-4

JAS:jump and shrink
You may need to levitate,that's variable.(a gain of speed in open space)
GE:grow up early and get out of a small section

After the first shrink,teleport to the group,pause the game and switch to blue,sommersault+explosion(the air version is bigger),you'll be able to blow up everyone before the elevator,you can JAS far from the corpse hand.

Teleport,jump and kick before jumping to the titan chase.You can't shortcut the first virage,unlike in the second one.JAS on the pipes,GE,at the end:jump and grow up before a second one.Dodge and fall to run faster.JAS into the conduit.Hide only once behind the third collumn.
T to the ennemies,the S+K can attack the duo.
GE only to run faster but pay attention to one wall that can stop you.

7-1:a major shortcut with a dodge:after the zipline,you can reach the platform before it dissapear,then,mash the jump button,really mash it.

Knack is faster than the tank,even without ID.
The green form destroy almost everyone outside the fourth part.

The monastery(full game run)

At the end of the previous level:the infinite spam of light shot is the best opportunity to discover spawn kills with it.
Don't move and spam it at the beginning instead of the heavy one that circles more easily.
Outside,you can hit an insect and the two guards faraway.Shrink through the boulders.

Individually:start in blue,run a bit and grab+multipunch (it increases your attack rapidly);the blue explosion is the solution to every major fight,more effective with a double tap that can be delayed.

How to profit of the faraway KO's effectively:climb,bodyslam and change color during the gold animation,other possibilities before a QTE starts,under a zip line,when dragging or transported like in 2-2 and 5-2.

Teleport+somersault the isolated humans,this attack goes high enough over certain ledges.Dodge+longpunch the first relicbot.

The dodgespam can go through the spinning obstacles without damage.

How to hit the two robots on the mountain:jump only once before shooting.

A major shortcut with a teleport...between many...to the duo where there are stones to toss.
