Hey! I'm Ashura and recently I've had a LOT of time on my hands, so I ended up watching a LOT of Grand_POOBear running Dram. During his streams he mentioned KamiKaze Bros and how players who like SMB3 should give it a try and that simply playing it would make one a better SMB3 player. Personally, I love SMB3, but I'm nothing amazing at it, just above average I'd wager, so I figured I might as well try KamiKaze Bros. I've been playing for about a week now and already I'm doing things that I thought I couldn't, I love this rom hack already (its also the first rom hack I've ever played).
Now, to the point of this post. I noticed that there are no Guides yet for this, so I've resorted to watching GlitchCat's run to learn a bit from. What I want to know is if there is a community or discord that I could join to discuss with others playing this game (I do hope to someday take a crack at speedrunning it, but that is likely a long ways away as I still have tons to learn - I also like to stream my epic failures at it, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside). Also, I figured out a few strats I like to use (others have likely figured them out before me, but I noticed GlitchCat did other strats that didn't seem as foolproof, but work - I still need to watch Barb's run of this to see if he knows of them, uses them, or uses something better), and I would like to share them. For example, in Level 4 I have 2 safe strats which guarantee that the first bussy beetle bounce in the muncher pit and the Paratroopa double bounce work everytime and from what I can tell there's either no or very minimal time loss.
Sorry for the long post, I'm new to all this, but I really enjoy it and its a great way for me to pass the time. However I have also learned that it is possible to bruise your thumb - it still hurts a bit.

First off, wow, thank you so much for playing my hack. I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
Currently, there is no discord for Kamikaze Bros 3. The game is still pretty new and not many people have completed it. Even less people have attempted to speedrun it! As for right now, I would recommend contacting either Glitchcat or myself directly on discord and we can help you out in any way we can. In the future I may consider making a discord for my stream and for my romhack.

Haha yeah, I developed quite a few minor finger injuries playing my hack. It's a brutal game.

Your hack is awesome, Poo was right, just over a week in and I'm already MUCH better than I was previously.
I wasn't sure if it would be alright to just add you and GlitchCat on Discord, I figured you guys likely get a lot of random people adding you so I wanted to sort of ask first... Unfortunately though I can't seem to locate your Discord to add, where might one locate that information?
I did however watch some of your run, mostly scrutinizing the Boss Bass level as I have not yet cleared it without save states (OMG THAT BACKUP STRAT WITH THE LAVA LOTUS! I thought if I lost the blue brick block that I was toast and had to restart the level). I also caught some of your stream this morning, you should have WAY more viewers, you're an amazing Mario player/creator and a lot of fun to watch.
Small side note, I love your art! I dabble in sketching myself, but your art and style are so beautiful, I'm kinda jealous. When I have some spare cash I definitely want to order something from your Etsy (That Battousai piece is GLORIOUS and would look great next to my Kenshin wallscroll - hopefully no one buys it before I get the money) or commission you for something, maybe I can get you to do a Mother/Earthbound piece with Ninten, Ness and Lucas.
Anyway, I'm going to get back to the hack, I'm not going to get good at it without practice.
