R1 and L1 used to change weapons For the first stage.
You need to upgrade your penetrating guns to max for breaking objects. And clear map.
Flame thrower is next on the list. It used to kill boss extremely fast since max level created 3 fireballs that has their own hit boxes. Each of them deal highest damage to bosses. The projectile also set your firing speed. If it disappeared fast then you can shoot another. The projectiles will disappear if they reach the end of your screen. Do not use this to destroy object. It will set object on fire for 5s before explode. During that time. Collision of the burned object is still on until it finished exploded. The bigger the boss. The better the damage.
Hammer or melee weapons are only useful during act 2 before bosses. Those 2 aliens keep popping out. Hit them with this to get more power capsules if you are short of it during the first stage or short of weapon ammo before boss and next stage
Basic weapon unlimited ammo but extremely weak. They are useless
Knife. Can clear the whole scene in a single it. Highest damage but slow because the attack animation will block you in place before you gain control back. => useless
Bazooka are use for chain explosions. Used to clear maps. Only useful in 1st stage where you dont have strong weapons yet
Power up. There are 3 type of power up. H. Is homing missiles. 4 missiles will fire each second. 25 seconds duration. V. Shooting 2 missled on V line in front of you for 25 seconds. It has double the damage of 1 homing missile fire interval is 1 sec. G. Create a circular shield which has 6 red orbs to protect you from enemies projectiles. Each orb take 2 or 3 hit to break. Break easily with particles on screen.
About falling mechanic. When you falling into a gap. The game will spawn you onto the nearest stand able platform. Which you can abuse by falling down as far as you can. Projectiles weapons cannot destroy object if you stayed too close to the object.
Bosses. Each bosses will trigger invincible ffame if they took enough damage and it will reset bosses patterns. Be aware there are some bosses that has invincible action. During the entire of animation. Even if their hp reach 0. They still not die until the animation end where you can last hit it.
Boss act 1. He doesn't has any invincible action. He can jump high off screen before landing fore next attack. Boss patterns :
- Shooting straights downward and in front. Only if boss picked up a Thompson.
- Shoot a nest. Then throw grenadier. Animation end when the grenade exploded. Only if boss picked up a hunting rifle.
- summon 6 bushes. He is inside one of 6. If a fake bush. It will be destroy easily. If thats the boss the it will take multiple hit. There will be a crosshair lock down on you. Which bush make a firing animation is where the boss hidding. The pattern end if he make the second shot
- jumping down without his gun. Throwing knifes at a fan pointing downward. Knives can be hit to destroy. If he will wnd the pattern whenever he jump to the top platform During the entire boss fight. There is a crane in the back ground. It will drops objects on you
Boss Act 2. There are 2 invincible action on this boss.
- throw flower while moving from side of the screen to the other screen, during the entire of animation. He cannot be kill. He will disappeared until all flower destroyed. The rose will fly down slowly. Explode on contact. Better use hammers to deal with those.
- shooting it arm out like a 2 drills. It will flying off screen and comeback to the boss. Until the arm get back. He cannot not be kill Shooting 3 orbs in a fan shape in front of him during hovering up. And 3 orbs separately toward player when hovering down During boss fight. There are 2 lion statues that can be destroy for loot on bost side of the top platform.
Act 3. There are 3 boss. A tank that has front and back. The front can shoot energy beam. Mini projectile with its minigun and shot cannon 3 balls toward player. If the tank is far off the screen. It will instant charge up to oposite side
The back of the tank can shoot multi projectiles with 2 minigun. It can shot cannon balls and a flame thrower below the tank. It can also eush to other side of screen if its too far off to the other svreen side
Boss Act 3. There is a invincible action.
- boss jump high. Shooting electric orbs around him. During that action he cannot be kill. When he land. He will shot a group of bullets toward player which can be destroy.
- boss sometimes jump onto the upper platform for no reason
- boss run off screen and throw a bunch of ties which can be destroy for loots
- rushing toward player and smash down
- rushing toward player and disappeared. Later jump down on top of player
Act 4. Boss has 2 phase. When he is covered with flame. There is a fireman that help you. He use his hand to block the water. Hit his hand will cause him loseing the fire counter on his body. If you dont hit him fast. He will regenerating it. Need 4 times to completely remove his flame. He will firing a fireball toward player. Better use hammers to save ammo During Boss fight. He has 3 invincible actions
- gather flame on his hand and punch down create some flame columns on the ground. He cannot be kill during this action
- jumping to the left and to the righ. Shotting down 5 fireballs on a fan shape downward. He cannot be kill during this whole section. The jumping also base on luck
- gather air and shoot 5 fireballs from his mouth at a fan shape. He cannot be kill during this animation
- shotting 2 flame downward from his head. These can be destroy
Act 5. There is 3 invincible action for this boss
- He is moving zic zac up down or left right with elextric around him. You cannot kill him during this
- shoot a cannon ball move zic zac left right up down on screen. He cannot be kill when firing the ball.
- gather electric. Shooting a chain of lightning balls on all direction. He cannot be kill during animation.
- flying around the screen. Play guitar which crease a projectile toward player. This can be destroy for loot
Act 6. Boss has 2 phrases. Spider phrase has 2 invincible animation.
- He move backward. Order 3 of his creeps fly toward player then walk back to the original position. Cannot kill him during the process.
- pop up a grenade launcher under his leg and 2 rocket launchers behind his back. Shooting multiple times. He cannot be kill during the animation.
- shoot mini projectile from his leg.
Phrase 2. No invincible actions Green health bar will summon weapon normally. If yellow health bar. He will start summon his weapons randomly. His weapons are destroyable
- flame thrower : 2 flame thrower on both side of the screen. 2 flame shooter higher.
- rocket. 2 rocket launchers shoot toward player. Under, there are 2 RPGs that shooting missle weapon off screen and return aim at player
- hammer and morning stars. He will summon both twice. Hammer will attack 2 times meanwhile the morning star will try to drop on you
- 4 gatling guns shotting There are 3 screens. His face will appear on 1 of those 3. Do dmg by shooting at it.
Strait If you dont have enough ammo. Death abusing is a way to refill your weapon ammo. You should have max flame thrower ammo capacity. Shooters gun that can penetrating object and on destroy. Create 2 fireballs on V shape . The bullet pass through multiple objects Bazooka for explosions. Cleaning early game If you are short on power capsules. 2 aliens before the 2nd boss fight give you a lot of them
