Do you guys have any current goals for speedrunning in mind currently?
My current goals I'm wanting to achieve right now, is to speedrun all Dora The Explorer console games in one run. To branch out more with blindfolded speedrunning, to a bunch of different games. And to make more history videos on speedrunning!
My current short-term goals are to get 2nd place on Streets of Rage 2 hardest difficulty with Blaze, and to get Grippy all keys sub 2 minutes. I don't expect either of these to take too long, and I'm not sure what I'll focus on after them.
Maybe I'll take a short break before picking from my other 2023 goals. I still haven't been doing more casual runs so far this year...
I've lost a lot of motivation to do speedruns lately, but my long term goals right now are to get a 6:2X in Mobility and a 2:0X in .S
I also want to start making youtube videos about speedrunning, but I always seem to lose motivation. I have so many good ideas but it's hard to get started. Hopefully this is the year I finally finish one.
As of right now, my goal is to get sub-hour in any% in Tears of The Kingdom. I'm going to get to practicing some more after I do the rest of the stuff I need to do in my main playthrough (already got 100%, just need some armor upgrades and wanna build a couple machines). Probably gonna take me a bit, especially considering how difficult the final battle is without doing the main story and getting more hearts/stamina/armor, but I've done it in BotW, and I'll do it again in TotK. Probably get to finish my goal sometime round July or August, but for now, I'm going to enjoy my first playthrough first and then experiment with more tricks and glitches after I'm done.
All Moto X3M levels blindfolded (9/25)
Hi, I have a question: I'm a 4-5th year speedcuber and my average ~ 14 seconds, and PB - 8,27. So, what should I do, if I can't interrupt this, yeah, I've already do more and more solves for 10; 9 and 8 seconds, but there is plateau I guess and tip "practice more" don't work pretty well. Maybe you have advanced hints?)
@aleksezer, i have no tips on something like SpeedCubing!
I wanna do a respectable 2-player speedrun with a friend before the year is over. All these years I've only done challenges with a few special people, but never speedruns.
Currently going for sub-hour in Trepang, just got a 1:05 https://speedrun.com/trepang2/run/m3qll04y
potentially getting sub 17 in check point championship 2017 and beating the wr which has stood since summer 2017 https://www.speedrun.com/cpc2017?h=Any&x=7kjg8lzk also just growing the roblox speedrunning community into something much more through events like rgdq and tournaments and stuff
gonna beat the world record for 100 stages in longest obby on roblox, got over 300 tries already
I’m currently grinding for WR in this Plants vs Zombies category extension.

My sum of best is more than 9 minutes below the current WR, so I know I’m capable of beating it. I just need a run where I both execute well and get great RNG.
Just recently got the WR for Metal Gear Ac!d. Next goal is to beat that time. Beyond that I want to learn more speedruns and submit more runs. I have always been timid or worried about submitting runs because I'm awkward and weird when I stream. I think next goal for me will be Metal Gear Ac!d 2, then Super mario rpg, maybe even actually submit some of my Resident evil remake runs that I put off forever.
UPDATE: I just completed my goal of Speedrunning all Dora The Explorer games on console, in a one run! Idk if I can just post the video on this thread, but I have it uploaded on my speedrunning channel!
Woah! Congratulations @PB_Speedruns on achieving your goal ᕙ(•▽•)ᕗ
