I am wondering if people would be willing to share your build for when you do your speed runs. I think that this will promote the fun that we find in this game and some competition. Let's see what you do to tweak the most speed you can. :)
Well I can share same overall tips because every map, difficulty and playstyle is different. In general for the lower difficulties damage doesn't matter that much as on higher difficulties. So demo with smartgun and fast ability recharge for aoe cleaning groups of aliens seems probably the best. Using perks that increasing movement speed is a basic for speed running so it's an auto include in every difficulty and build. On higher difficulties (intense and above) u wanna do a lot of dmg to get the greens and bosses fast down and one shot runners. So gunner with the pump shotgun is a damage beast and seems to be the best option. The other classes are better for team support as for speedrunning imho. Doc is nice with a stim build to get the maximum of movement speed but suffers on dmg output and aoe.
I wouldn't mind sharing the builds I have. as much as its nice to be 1st spot, see how the community can bring times down and make runs optimized is even better.
