@KrasniPi I think it would be possible to add a category for getting all the plush toys of argemia in such a case. for each one individually and all together
Tutorial level Glitchless WPWT (TutorialGlitchlessWPWT%)
Task is to get to the very end of tutorial level secrets and activate "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" info sign.
Not allowed: ragdoll jump glitch, cheats, freecam. Pressing escape also counts as in-game time.
Here's an example of me doing it pretty well in 0.7.0b3
we need solar%
basically, complete 30 days in the solar gamemode the fastest.
I'd like to suggest something like Burger% or Tile%, get the burger achievement as fast as possible, and Tile%, opening up the code vault as fast as possible. Time for Burger% ends when the achievement pops up, and time for Tile% ends on entering the code vault UI.
30 Days would be too long and random dependent. The only things that will increase speed are daytime length setting and random dream evernts to reduce stamina for sleep-skip the time.
Burger and Tile % are good indeed and first one been made by Listenup on YT, so quite playable
I need some realistic suggestions about the fate of Doctor Kel% category. It's quite deprecated and not suitable for speedrun. For me personally it needs to be suspended. What are your thoughts? I'll wait one week for any propositions about it.
Opposite idea: keep category alive and add some speed-ups such as 200% day speed time and explain core mechanics of time skips such as climbing surfaces (reduces stamina), etc. Share your thoughts on this as well!
@WiRaR for your Doctor Kel% question. I can totally understand and see the reasoning for both options. My problem is that a Doctor Kel run would probably be really boring. Once you get an Omega Kerfur, the run would devolved to quickly finding a signal, climbing as much as possible and then sleeping
@WiRaR yea im concerned on it too. l got to day 6 in 4 hours at 100% speed and o-kerfur was done before the day was out. i had a friend do the math for me (cause im bad at it) and it would be about 70 hours to get through all 50 days. allowing 200% would take a huge chunk of time off but i dont think it would half it cause i dont think it speeds up sleeping speed so the only time you get the benefit of it is when youre doing signals, doing pull ups to lower stamina, or during events. id say it would end up being around 40-50 hours at best. saying that, i still kinda want to see what subjecting myself to that would be lol. trying to recover a run because you got your kerfur trapped in the meat room and then emp'd or exploded by killer wasps sounds like a special kind of hell. does it deserve a spot on the leader board though?
@NeppuNep, thanks for opinion. So we came to a consensus that current idea itself of completing the game is too boring to take place (at a moment, not by future possible updates). And it will be suspended. Now i need to decide - whether the category should get some other idea or just disappear. I'd suggest something that needs below 2 hours for completion. What's your thoughts on time limits and new category idea?
As for now, i'm suspending category
@WiRaR Yeah that's perfectly reasonable. Maybe in a future update we would get something to make it more faster? As of right now, this game just isn't built for a full any% completion like this. Though I really do like the concept a lot, I would totally keep it and rework it into a more bearable category. (Though I am unsure as to what category it should be replaced with. Maybe Week% where you survive an entire week?)
So, there are videos of Burger% runs and probably Tile% runs, as well as Skull%. Should I add some of these?
Vote for your pokemon and post reply as this:
@WiRaR, 2
-
Tile%
-
Burger%
-
Skull%
-
None of them >_<
Only one for now. You can explain your choice freely. You have one week to vote :)
@WiRaR In order of how much I want to see them in the leaderboards. 2, 1, 3
Burger% is my personal pick for me. Mainly because of the achievement + the large amount you have to find. I would love to see how some people would tackle some of these burgers. Like the one on the top of the Radome on the base
Tile% will be interesting mainly for that one specific tile placed at the corner of the world border
Skull% just seems like a generic collect-a-thon for me
@WiRaR, I think it's gonna be 2 for me as well.
Burger% seems like it would be the most fun out of the three to run and route. I think it'll be cool to see how the run progresses over time, though to be fair Tile% and Skull% aren't bad category ideas either but I think Burger% fits the most on the leaderboard currently.
Okay, i see. Also Tile% can be settled up for opening green cabinet and Skull% to enter the Hell dimension
UPD: run recording for the category is enough offense to open one right now
