Played on MAME. Managed to get to the end of the game. At the end of level 7 there is a new final boss, and then the game just ends. The game looks hard but once you understand the rhythm of shooting it all boils down to learning the patterns and knowing how many times you can shoot between each movement, and how many hits it takes to kill each one.

As for the run, it was really great up to stage 5, then I just took it more easy as the last levels are really tight and this was the first time I beat the game.
