Hey small tweak to the site that I think would save a lot of aggro for newcomers and shouldn't be a hard addition to the script...
If you search for a game and no results come back. Instead of just saying "No Results" change it to "No Results. Do you want to submit a run for this game?" or something similar with a link to the request game.
And if you wanted to be really picky then you can add it to the bottom of the search results regardless of the results.
i.e.
Game Doesn't Exist? Request Game here
By the looks of it <ul id id ="searchmenu"> is what you need to search for, for the No Results. Blurb update (This is the easy quick win)
Then search for <li id='searchplaceholder'> that will bring up the function for the search pop up function where you sholuld be able to implement a simple <a href> in to the bottom of the list
Personal preference: I'd rather not encourage game submissions on a total whim as it will probably degrade the quality of requests and moderators. While marginal, I think having the slight initiative to go to the form for requests is preferable. Admittedly the link could probably be in another place or two, but I'd rather not have everyone who searches thinking about submitting a game every time they search something. Basically to improve request quality, someone should navigate the site at least a little bit before they submit a game in my opinion.
Secondly: The search form is also for users, so if the user doesn't exist, I don't want to submit them as a game, which looks a bit odd.
