So if I were to record a speedrun by vhs tape recorder, could I send the tape in for verification?

Cos I have a c64 but no DVD recorder to use. What I can use is a prehistoric vhs recorder

Lol, no, you can’t send VHS tapes anymore for verification, this is not the SDA days. You’ll unfortunately need to invest in a capture card to get digital video of your runs so they can be viewed on a site like YouTube.
