The music in the game.
Well beyond concern about VOD muting (though that's a real thing too) I've never quite gotten on board with blasting playlists during a run/stream. I still need to be absorbed into the game to perform well, even if it's my thousandth time playing it.
For a game with music, I'll have that playing. Even when grinding ILs so I hear the beginning of the track over and over again- I know about how well I'm doing by where I am and how far into the song it is.
For Chip's Challenge, though, where there is no music (in Tile World, anyway)... I generally have other game soundtracks in the background! Something energetic to keep my focus high, usually RPG boss themes and the like.
I just either listen to the ingame music or my music playlist (if someone cares: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_joc3SNEyEBThbK-0R6_l1a0wox_yaEe , be warned, horrible music taste for most of the peops).
Sometimes I do some-requests in more chill games too, so yea

It's a youtube radio station with the freshest beats and the chillest sounds
Yeah, I usually just listen to the in-game as well. I've had to do it before though, as sometimes longer routes in Rune Factory 1 means you'll be spending a few minutes doing nothing but sleeping, hearing the first few notes of the house theme and the sleep chime on repeat for a while.
Luckily, my setup will let me listen to any music I want without it affecting the recording, so I can jam out to River City Girls if need be.
In-game music for most webgames is terrible. If there's an option to just have sound effects play, which some games do, it's soooooo much better.
