I wanted to talk about what I was speedrunning yesterday to a friend, and I don't know the proper term. "I speedran" just doesn't sound right and I don't hear anyone use it.

Should this just be avoided by saying "I was doing a run" instead of using speedrunning in the past tense?

I always say "speedran". It's the same thing as the past tense of "run"
