Hello, new here and i wonder what games i can speedrun from the lists i have. So i will sort them out in groups (1, 2, etc) so if you have an answer to that particular group you'll type the group number first, it will be easier to see for what list you're talking about if there's alot of comments, thanks.

YES, i know it's a lot of games lol but i want to atleast know the more popular ones though :)
N64 list: http://pastebin.com/FDF9prXp
Ps2 games: http://pastebin.com/KPKUAc1e
I also have a couple of Xbox Original and Xbox 360 games but are there even speedruns on them? I have atleast the more popular ones there so i didin't bother to make a list of it.
Thank you in advance if you're looking into this for me!
Alright, you can basically speedrun anything you want, but it depends on any time constraints you may have. Multiplayer games generally aren't ran (some people run tutorials - CS:GO being an example of this - but I find them to be a little boring), and some are just too long or too hard to route to be ran (like Just Cause 2).
The Dark Souls games are popular, and can be beaten my the top players in under an hour. Fallout 4 is also speedrun, but takes over an hour. Dishonored is a good speedrun I've watched. There's a lot of other options, too (Dying Light, Terraria, Teslagrad, etc.).
There's a lot of options on your N64 list. SM64, Golden Eye, OoT and Majora are the more popular ones there but there are heaps more.
Your PS2 list doesn't have many popular items. The Armored Core series does have a small community, but there isn't much else there from what I see.
Xbox 360 does have some support for speedrunning. If you look around you'll find good XBLA games that have a community. There's also the Halo series. As for the original Xbox, I have one too, but I don't actually know anyone that runs any games on it. A lot of the games on Xbox that are speedrun are generally played on other consoles, probably due to loading times.
Basically, what it boils down to is that you should look at the games you really like, watch a few speedruns, and decide whether you'd have fun with it.
Just like Klashik said, you can speedrun anything you want.
Oooooooh Dishonored. That a really good one. I've seen runs of it, pretty technical if I remember correctly. Boarderlands 2 is also really fun one to run. ArchAge... geez, I played this game before it was known, not sure how you would speedrun it but it would be entertaining if the game is nearly as glitchy as it was when it first came out.
SM64 is alway a good idea because you have tons of runs to play off of. With the top places they tend to use more advanced strats however the lower/est times probably have to many mistakes to know the exact routes. So try some of the middle times for decent strats that you could easily adapt to. Same applies with OoT and DK64.
For PS2... have you play any of the RaC games? I don't know if the list consist of the games that you have for the system, but RaC nonetheless is a great speed game, lot and lots of tricks, skips and glitches.
I don't know a lot about the Xbox games tbh :/
Thank you alot Klashik and Lance_ for the information! I can say that i'm more interested to start with runs that could be completed in an hour or lower, the Dishonored game is one of my favorite games of all time so i think that could be an option (depends on the run times). Dying Light is a game i started not so long ago and atm i'm enjoying it alot, so i think that could be an option but ofc depends on the run time there too.
OoT and DK64 is one of my favorite N64 games so maybe that could be an possibility :)
With the PS2, yes Lance the games i mentioned in the list is what i have but they're also kinda "meh". I was more curious if there was an community for it.
I think i'll start and look around on Dishonored and Dying Light for runs around 1 hour or less, if i don't find any around that time i guess i'll look at Zelda or Mario (preferably Zelda).
Though i read the rules for speedrunning games that you can record the runs, but if you want to run on the PC you have to stream it which i sadly can't since i only have a ~11 mb/s down and ~1 mb/s up. With also sharing it with my brothers, which would not be optional sadly. But from what i've read and seen, recording on consoles are accepted which is good because it gives me a chance to atleast speedrun something (I also have the knowledge already of recording on consoles and have the equipment already).
As long as the recording is good enough to watch and look at everything that is happening, any recording should be accepted (most game mods even accept webcam).
Not that it's fawned of but I believe some leaderboard don't even require videos which I always find irritating when 1st place doesn't have a video. It all depends on the game, but I would highly recommend having a recording of your run whether it's required or not.
