The rules of Far Cry 2 (https://www.speedrun.com/fc2) have been rewritten to clarify and rectify old rules. The most major changes are these:

• The poll (https://discordapp.com/channels/229782076763668481/229782131000213504/1060266995662200843) held last month in #farcry2 had convincing results, and as such, the 60 framerate max rule has been abolished for Far Cry 2 runs that do not use record playback abuse (RPA).

• Clarification was made on starter saves. Currently, starter saves must be made immediately after the end of the 8 minute intro cutscene. However, this was not specified/clarified in the rules until now, and as a result some runs started with a save that did not do this. No runs have been or will be retroactively rejected because of this.
