The bulk of time saved off the previous WR is from skipping the triple point round by getting 300 points by the end of the double point round and going straight to fast money. That as well as having questions with as few answers as possible making the board easy and quick to clear, and not passing and having to rely on CPUs getting questions wrong (apart from the 2000s which is why I started with that one). Clearing the boards also save time from the game not having to slowly reveal the remaining answers each time.
