To downgrade version:

• right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 in Steam Library, select Properties.
• Select 'Betas' tab. In the dropdown, select the version you want, e.g. 'temporary_1_30' Note some beta branches have been removed, there is an alternative that will be explained at the bottom of the page.

Version recommendations

• Edinburgh-London RTA is 1.30 to avoid extra service warp window and automatic parking brake engage post-warp (only 1.31 on some game region versions). Unfortunately the pause flag for the load remover lags slightly for 1.30 but runs will be manually retimed. IGT should be 1.32 or earlier to avoid the physics changes.

• Paris-Berlin RTA and IGT should be run on v1.32 to take advantage of beneficial map changes upgrading the roads near Berlin, but to avoid physics changes.

• Aberdeen-Bratislava RTA is now best run on at least game version 1.43 for changes to Frankfurt, and service station positions at Amsterdam and Frankfurt for quicker exit. IGT may benefit from older game versions e.g. 1.32 still for minimal road changes and better truck handling.

• Tampere-Catania RTA is currently best run on 1.40 to avoid changes to Lyon in 1.43, and Hannover in 1.45.

• Istanbul-Aberdeen is likely best run on 1.36 to avoid additional road changes, though IGT may benefit from the Austria rework.
