Hello,

I wonder if we(I) could have a category for each character because they don't have the same attacks and don't deal the same damage and therefore it's not "fair" to compare each character.

I know that it's not needed since only me speedrun the game but it could be nice to have that feature.

that's a lot of categories to ask for. the only way i would be willing to do this is if i put all of them in a miscellaneous tab.

if that works for you then send them in and the categories will be made per submission.

So it would be Any % and Miscellaneous for each different champion? If so, how would submits would work? I mean that if you submit to a champion and you get WR on that champion but also on Any%, would it count for the Any% or would we have to send twice the same submission?

I guess that for now since I'm the only one running, we could keep it that way since other unpopular fighting games tends to keep it that way if you tell me that if I submit a run with another character, it would show here. Else I would like the Miscellaneous

This is not a bad idea but was wondering two things, if the Any% category might make more sense being called something like Contest Mode. Not a big deal just used to fighting games having different category names. Any% feels like a platformer or something lol. That way if any other category is added a runner could easily make sense what to run. Also I didint even know there was a level leaderboard for each character, till i looked at my profile page lol. If any one submits a run and it gets added to the individual board then i have two larcens or whatever. Im suggesting maybe removing the character part for Any% since it doesn't matter what character you use.

Removing the character doesnt help. This is a leaderboard which means it consists of data. The whole point of a leaderboard is to show data. Showing character adds data. Lets people see whats up quickly.

@NerdyNester My point was mostly that besides the throw which is similar to almost all character, There's differences in term of the stages you have to deal with and the attacks you can perform to beat your opponents. 

For example, I find that Slash, Larcen, Xavier and Trident are the most hard to deal with compared to the other 5. So picking one of those characters clearly put you in an advantage because you won't have to deal with him. It's not like almost all other fighting games where you have to deal with your "clone". Also, my technique is often to throw them infinitely but if I pick Slash (or Rax), it takes forever compared to other characters to throw them. So what is your solution? To create a leaderboard full of "elite" characters or a leaderboard for each of them? I understand that it can be confusing a little bit about the leaderboard since it's not really a level leaderboard but a character leaderboard. 

On another note, I haven't find a difference between normal and overdrive in term of speed. I remember playing on the genesis, it did a difference, but it seems on my emulator, it does nothing. So you can may be enlighten me if it's my ROM the problem or if there's indeed no differences in emulator. I've tried on normal and overdrive but I can beat my opponent in the same IRL time.

Thats interesting. I wouldnt know myself because i do not have an emulator. But if the emu cannot speed up the fighting then maybe try a different emu? Thats the only solution i can think of other than using original hardware.

But I don't feel my character or opponents are slower or faster than what the other 2 runners have done on Overdrive compared to my normal one. If someone can show a difference and tell which emulator they use (if they do) and show me the difference, it would help for future reference.
