You can already sort by platform so i guess that sort of does the trick :)

Let's see... there are 12 levels + boss which means you go to the world map 12 times in total, which means 36 loads in the run. I'd say loads on PC are between 2 and 5 seconds so you're looking at about 2-3 minutes of loading times. I'd guess- and don't quote me on this cause i have close to no idea- that you can add 1 more minute for consoles because it has to write data to the cartridge and the animations are slightly longer (you can save time by playing without a cartridge though, wink wink).

Yo, PC is faster than other platforms because of load times. The difference is pretty noticeable when you're aiming for a good time although i don't know exactly how many seconds you'll lose if running on console. It happens to be so because load times in this game are bound to the random animation that plays between game states (you know, the lightning bolt that bounces). Well it just so happens that there's a fixed number of those animations and they differ between versions because, i assume, of performance reasons. And as you might expect since most PCs load game states almost instantly the animations are much shorter there than on older, slower consoles. You could make the argument that we could simply remove load times post-run and it has been discussed a while back but we never got around to it because it's tedious af and we're a lazy bunch. Hope that clears things up :)

Nickname: Tomiy Country: France Game: Zapper: One Wicked Cricket! Category: Any% (race against David) Estimate: 21:00 Video (PB/WR): Commentators: GreenDavideku

Additional info: It's probably one of the most execution-based platformers once you get into the speedrun aspect of it, since it's very punishing and requires precise and rapid inputs. It's hard to commentate on it while playing but i'll try my best :P

Game Name: Zapper: One Wicked Cricket! System: Gamecube, GBA, PS2, X360, Xbox, PC (version i run) Category: Any% Gameplay Estimate: 25:00 Ending/Bonus Estimate: 5:00 (just a quick hardlock) Possible Donation Incentives: Filename? (it's only 3 letters) Sample run video: Description: Zapper: One Wicked Cricket is a platform game for the Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and PC. The game was developed by Blitz Games and published by Infogrames. Zapper was released in North America in November 2002. In this game, the player's aim is to traverse over 20 levels as Zapper the cricket in an effort to save Zapper's brother from an evil foe. Along the way you must collect 6 eggs in each level. The concept behind Zapper's gameplay is similar to the classic game Frogger. So far there are only 2 serious runners beating each other on a regular basis, Greendavideku and myself, both holding sub 20 minutes times. I have also worked on an any% TAS with the help of Amateseru, which you can see at .

I don't have that much stuff to add, david already pretty much summed it up :P We could set up for a race maybe, that would be interesting..
