well honestly this isn't too surprising, we've already known running this game on emulator is p2w. load time is cpu dependant, and also somewhat rng on top of that. one shutter load time in specific i can lose or gain about 2s just because the emulator decides lol. the vanilla category is also slightly p2w on emu because of other non-door loading sections (like loading into the submarine section, and anywhere else the 'now loading' screen appears.)
anyway this could potentially help in these certain situations but i'm not sure pausing at every single door would be the solution lol, the best bet is still waiting on someone to make a LTR by far. for now the game isn't on a even playing field and there isn't that much we can do atm.. i will experiment with certain areas of the game and report back later though.

is this a leaderboard displaying times for speedruns or is this is a tumblr page? as soon as anything about making the boards less pretty is mentioned all logic goes out the window. multiple sections of the board has zero submitted runs. 'all campaigns' isn't a 'real' category either, so now what

also the RE3 thing is a straight up lie, absolutely no one cared about mashing the buttons to skate down 2 sets of stairs in the intro, people just didn't want to play that boring crap. LOL
edit: actually, thinking about it, mashing W in the timed rhythm to stair skate without the weapon in the RE3 intro is 10x more skill based than anything in the 9 minute RE6 intro.
i mean it might be hard for people to vote in an unofficial discord vote that happened years ago (allegedly) when the admins ban anyone that speaks out against their wrong opinion.
yeah i completely agree with literally everything u said. i had the same goal as u when i tried no hope and it's extremely annoying and time wasting, especially when you're grinding with someone else in co-op. 9 minutes is a LOT of time.
the higher ups think the 9 minute, zero skill intro is 'part of the game' and therefore we can't possibly be allowed to skip that. i already tried, sorry. KEKW
i can't give any tips on the rope strat because i've never tried that, but the grenade drops are complete rng. you can't even find them until you have the GL in your inventory at the end of C3, so basically the event with the helicopter and the javo at the start of C4 is your only opportunity to get the GL rounds. it's the main reason this category is garbage tbh lmao

well it's technically possible sure, but i doubt it will reach that. theres a lot of really small rngs that lose time that u would need to grind (like magum piercings based on zombie position rng,) and on top of that THE BAT is still 100% rng so it would be really annoying lol. def not even close to being dead tho
is there video proof anywhere from the players pov of executing this glitch? if not, can you ask him the 'spot'? i've been trying to do this for ages and i haven't had it happen a single time. the fact he only did it a few times too makes me think it's (at least) either some pixel perfect glitch or a bad connection co-op glitch. it saves close to a minute, the wr is impossible without doing this, and that's very problematic unless it can be explained.
so how do you do it? i can't reproduce it. there's only one run on the board that does it, and it doesn't have that players POV. where is the 'specific spot' that needs to be shot? this is a huge timesave, WR will actually be impossible without doing this so i'm just wondering!
fml all we had to do was delete ONE pak file to make it work again? i hate capcom 💀
