Is there a reason why some runners play Wii U instead of Wii for console runs?

When I get to the short cutscene near the end of the run, I can't save. I open the menu, save, it clearly says "Saving game" and it doesn't show up in the Load game section. Even when I'm not in a cutscene, I try to save and nothing shows up in the load section. Does anyone know how to fix this or should I burn my house down?

My theory is that you first play the game normally and beat it, then play it again without saving the game. I want someone to test this theory for me and let me know if it works or not.

Where's the multiplayer categories? Why is it only solo?

You can get down to the basement without going through the shake sequence just by reading the attic note and causing the shake as soon as possible. Found this while routing for 100%. lmk if you have any questions or problems with this skip. Video link (sorry for bad commentary lol):

You can separate pc category better instead of how it is right now. I think personally its more messier than adding in sub categories. Just a suggestion.

I tried searching the web and couldn't find any download for the game. The only thing I found was an .iso game which I couldn't run because it's only compatible for computers under 64 bit. How do I play this? Do I have to get a virtual machine to play this or is there another solution?

I know there was a website about the game, but the website is dead now when trying to go to it. I was wondering if you are allowed to change the fov in the game, I always like to have my fov at 100, but the game doesn't have it set to that, and it looks ugly to me.

When I first saw the wr run for this game, I noticed it said 29 hours. At first I thought it took that long to do 100%, but I looked at the run, and saw that it was actually 29 minutes. Just wanted to let the mod know that the time was put in wrong for the run, and fix the timer.
