GermanyI would like to know about ResidenJack96's question as well. I'm kind of tempted to lmit the framerate to like 118 just because occasionally it goes 1 or 2 fps over the cap. This is with Rivatuner.
Actually yeah, maybe the runspeed in caution has something to do with that. My guess is the game loads in items if you're in proximity, but for some reason the spawn triggers aren't perfectly set for all of the items, particularly not for that one pouch. I now always stand in front of the locker for a second before opening it, lol.
Hm, I guess it can happen with any item then. That's a bit concerning. The same thing happened to me again in the same spot earlier. I saw the pouch spawning after opening the locker, but this time it was a bit quicker, and I was still able to pick it up.
Hi, everyone. I started learning Claire A today, and I encountered a bug with the item pouch after the first boss. It only spawned after I had opened the locker, and there was no prompt to pick it up. This happend on PS4 for me. Has anyone encountered this issue as well? I'm too scared to run to this locker too quickly now, lol. I haven't been able to replicate the issue yet. Maybe I should have tried climbing up the ladder to the garage and coming back down. Either way it's a time and/or space loss.

Somebody has mentioned this on another forum, and it's super counter-intuitive, but I've had some success with it, actually. Essentially, by using a higher resolution or resolution scaling, I actually end up putting less work on my CPU and more on my GPU. It runs slightly more stable that way.
I'd like to chime in on this as I've encountered this issue myself now. It happened in the hallway next to the boiler room. Changing the framecap to 60 or variable didn't help (it was already set to 60), neither did disabling vsync. The only change that seemed to have an effect was to lock FPS to 30. However, that may have been a fluke, and playing with FPS capped at 30 is something I would really prefer to avoid. Has anyone discovered a definitive solution for this issue yet?

I've been wondering if there's a trick to make Gator Steaks drop. Last time it took me 15 minutes or so to get both of them. The drop chance seems pretty abysmal in speedrunning terms.
Is that part of the game just RNG hell, or is there something to it?
Yeah, I noticed that many old Twitch embedded videos don't work anymore. Would be great to fix those.
furrywulfz, I know what you're saying, I've been discussing all of this with other people a lot. The thing is, I don't think my streaming setup is taxing at all. I stream at 30 FPS, 1200 KB/s bitrate and 960x540 resolution. I can't even lower it anymore if I want the quality to be at least somewhat decent. Maybe lower the resolution to 480p, but I don't think it would make a difference. I'm surprised you stream at 800 KB/s though.
Seems to run well most of the time, sometimes minor FPS problems for some reason. Though Dudley says the game seems to run a tiny bit slower than it could. There's no visible difference, at least not as far as I can see, though splits say something else. Even with a perfect start (perfect RNG, close to perfect lines), I've never had a sub 4:50 RPD, ever.
But I have to say I was surprised by my most recent PB. Sitting at 46:50 for any% atm.

Thumbs up for the idea though. It sounds awesome, especially if we can organize multiple teams.

Guys, I'm rather new to this community, but I'd hate to see it fall apart or (further) split into mutually adversarial camps. I don't know the ins and outs, but I think there's too much pointing fingers happening right now and it seems as though a lack of communication is the actual problem here. People don't even agree on what exactly they're arguing over at this point. Come on! I'm sure that if there was more communication, half the problems wouldn't even exist right now. But instead I see grudges grown out of misunderstandings, which is sad and unnecessary. Just talk to each other, guys, do it in a respectful manner and in a reasonable tone. Try to understand the other person, and if you're unsure about their position or intent, ask about it instead of making assumptions. We're all intelligent men and women and shouldn't let this community fracture like this. I like each and every one of you, I look up to some of you in fact, and it just breaks my heart to see you going at each other like this. Just talk, guys, seriosly. And if you absolutely can't stand another person, just accept that as the unavoidable fact of life that it unfortunately is, but don't dwell on it.
