I'm still messing with Low% to see what the best way to do it will be. First I'm getting my Zeon NG+ file ready. The hard part about the Zeon run in any category that isn't Low% is, like you said, that there's almost a full month at least without a single mission, so it's hard to know which Zeon missions trigger progression. I almost think they all do, but I'll try to remember to look on my next levelling run for Zeon.

As I mess with my EFF file I do agree that I should be able to get sub 1 if I only do the story missions/whatever missions are available to me at that moment (since some are date locked but the final mission can be done in october) and I will be working on refining that.

All in all, I'll try to make a note of which specific missions unlock what missions so that we can have a for sure list of progression.

Thanks! A guide would be wonderful for specifically the story% categories. I know in the US this game didn't get a lot of traction but I really enjoyed it and knew I could rock NG+ on EFF! (I even did the entire game on Very Hard with just the GM Striker....ONCE.)

I definitely noticed that about the Zeon run as I've been getting my file prepared for it. Always concerns me to go almost a full month without a single mission. It also seems I'll need to figure out which two missions I can cut out of my EFF run since I think I did it in 16, resulting in a 1:09 run that I know I can improve. I look forward to seeing your notes, as I'll be submitting more runs for this game!

So a month ago I submitted a run for EFF New Game Plus but the only mod of the game hasn't been active in two months. Is there anyone else who may be perusing pending submissions? I know we're past the 21 day typical time listed on the mod rules section.

Oh, a follow up: There's no guides for which missions are story missions, and the game has Low% meaning technically you don't have to do ANY of the missions except the last one, so I'm not sure how those 8 categories can be filled out. In that regard a NG+ Low% seems more viable than story only.

My speedrunning journey started when I accidentally learned I can speed run Star Fox 2. I've been pushing on improving my time on a warpless run (yes I know that isn't a category at this time) and just submitted my first run for consideration. Nikoheart and Argick really supported and encouraged me to submit so here we are.

I'm normally the kind of player that focuses on finding lore in a game, and have never considered playing games quickly before Star Fox 2 came into my life on the Switch. I think if I learn to speed run other games, I'll focus on glitchless/no major glitches unless there's a game I can really perform a skip on.
