I'm noticing some performance issues on Livesplit. Whenever I run it on a laptop or a slow desktop, my autosplitter gets stuck whilst streaming on OBS. I have the program timing my in-game time and realtime and I notice the miliseconds are running slower than they should be. Any ideas how to improve it's performance?
Hi All
Samtastic here. I am now stepping down as Super Moderator from Oddysee, Exoddus and New 'n' Tasty as currently I don't have enough time to verify runs. I still remain a series moderator and I will continue to update the board with any games or additional games there might be.
For starters, we have RELIVE which looks potential for Oddworld speedruns in the future - especially all the mods that people have made on RELIVE and eventually maybe Oddysee any% NMG and 100% NMG may be runnable without saving and loading frequenelty! The autoturn and the stop turn glitches have been fixed in the latest builds...
I will still continue to stream online and currently trying Oddysee any% NMG and eventually will do Exoddus any% NoSS and still get people watching my streams. I just won't be moderating people's runs anymore as I don't have a lot of time in my spare time due to work and other things.
Hope you guys understand my position and stay odd!
Now that June 1st is here, we are now using in-game loadless time for Oddysee. The new autosplitter will pause the timer between loading and screen transitions and only time actual gameplay. From now on, we will now compare against loadless times so that performance for realtime runs won't matter. It's all about the frames baby!

Your run will be rejected automaticallly form this site if you don't show your in-game times at the end of your run. If you finish a run and doon't show your in-game times, then I will reject your run. If you submit your run and show your in-game times at the end, I will accept your runs.

THE ONE LIFE CHALLENGE!
Here are some of my guidelines I wrote for this challenge.
-Your goal in this challenge is to complete Abe's Exoddus whilst saving as many Mudokons as you can.
-You only get ONE LIFE. If Abe dies, the challenge is over.
-If you want to take part in this challenge, please visit this Discord server (insert Discord Link here)
-Ask a moderator add your name below.
-Once you start your challenge, you can save your progress at the first screen of Feeco Depot if you wish. Then you can resume. You need to type the words @Magic8Ball into your name chat before you start the challenge. You will be given a set of combinations to do to start the challenge. You can also save at entrance screen of Soulstorm Brewery.
-Your score will be saved after the challenge.
Hi Folks
I would like to confirm that two new planned titles have been added to the site. Once the games have been released and people have been playing them, I will update the site with categories such as any%, 100% and maximum casualties.
I will look forward to uplaoding my fan game to my website when it is made. I am working very hard on this game and will keep you updated.
Regarding Soulstorm, there has not been a release date yet for Soulstorm, but I am preparing the game pages.
This is an announcement to say that the paulsapp DLL is no longer allowed for speedruns. All runs on the any% leaderboard that have not skipped cinematics are removed .
Since the main Windows port crashes a lot on Windows 10, you may want to consider runnnig the same speedy port on DOSbox which may prevent crashing! I will be trying it today, but DOS version works well on DOSbox. Here's how to get it working.
So today I've been doing some runs on Bizhawk and I feel that this emulator is the best. It's 100% accurate and you can record input and save on the memory card for final in-game time.
Here is the official project page for Bizhawk: http://tasvideos.org/BizHawk.html
So today Oddworld announced a new game called Oddworld: Soulstorm. Oddworld will be speaking with Kindafunnygames later this week to talk more about the game. It's being developed by 2 internal Oddworld teams and a team in Qubec. I'm looking forward to seeing some footage of the game. It's going to be a retale of Abe's Exoddus.
Update: A further announcement will be made in the Fall.
It's finally here people!
You can now skip first Bowser fight! Still work in progress to make it happen in a 0-star run.
How easy is the any% no save corruption run on this game? I am interested in speedrunning this game on emulator on the Blue version. What is the best consistent method to use when the game it for the first time?
Plus I am used to speedrunning short games at the moment and I was wonder how consistent this category is?
