Hey guys! I am the new Super Moderator for the Gravinaytor speedrun leaderboard!
I have started to change things around to make it fair for everyone since there are multiple versions of the game available online. However, things have changed since the forums have last been talked in, as Flash support ended on all modern browsers at the end of 2020. Alas, there is still a way to play Gravinaytor today: BlueMaxima's Flashpoint.
Flashpoint will be the primary way to run the game, going forward. You can find the download for Flashpoint in Resources.
Three different versions of the game have been backed up on Flashpoint: The Newgrounds version, the Miniclip version, and the Friv version. I have modified the board to show each version, and it will be required for you to specify which version you are using. I do not know what to do with the runs that ran on versions that are not backed up on Flashpoint (gimme5games.com being a good example), so we can discuss how we want to go with that.
If you have anything else to add, don't be afraid to talk about it in the forum.
I would like to request to be a Super/Mod for the Flash game Gravinaytor (https://www.speedrun.com/gravinaytor.) Both mods have been inactive for >2 months (Super mod: 2 Months, Regular Mod: 5 Months) on the website. I have tried contacting the Supermod, but they have been inactive since October, and have not responded to my message I have sent to them. They have also avoided responding to any forum posts about a problem we have run into.
So pisgood and I have recently discovered that there are some major differences between the different websites that have been seen on this leaderboard (like Miniclip (let's call it M), logicieleducatif.fr (Let's call it L), etc).
For example, bullets are much faster on L than M, and levels 19 and 20 are brand new levels in L that are not seen in M, making the L version a much longer game, which makes it unfair if people are running on the L version.
Is there a way that we could possibly highlight the platform as each website when we submit a run or even have two different leaderboards for each version?
