in my opinion the few things that are games on neal.fun are very different from each other, making a series unnecessary
First I'd like to request to be Mod because I moderate the Trace page and I believe I have set it up and maintained it quite well but also.. I would like to suggest a few categories, rules, and settings
Categories: the same main categories as Trace would be a good set, Any%, 100%, Minimum Clicks, and In-Game Time
Rules: General no cheating stuff but the timing should be from start to last input because the in-game time isn't consistent or clearly based on anything just like in Trace
Settings: Milliseconds should be used
I primarily am wondering the recommended splits for the 40-50 minute range but would love if anyone can supply splits from like 35-55 if possible. Mainly asking because everyone's is just super different when I look at runs. Thanks in advance
I don't believe that anyone has even done a run that wasn't minimum characters with a datetime change. Also it should have zero impact on the speedrun categories. With minimum characters it is simply a strategy development.
You can use NextChessMove.com or similar but you must input the pieces manually and type in the answer that it gives you. What we're saying is that you can't use a software that takes the info from the game and/or inputs the answer into the game automatically. But as GlowBlock said, learning to solve it normally will be faster.
You can use something such as NextChessMove but using a software that solves the rule for you is obviously not allowed. You can use a spreadsheet for the geoguesser.
yeah, any eyedropper is more or less required to run it anyway
I personally didn't pre-size in my run but i do know that if you size stuff in word it doesn't work. But in Bleach's yt times spreadsheet they put their starting password that is pre-sized, link in resources.
It starts as soon as any characters appear in the box and ends when you paste in the matching password and it says that it is complete
Yeah, as long as you didn't edit anything it should be fine. I'll change the rule to better state that.
grande1900, the mobile and steam categories refers to the level sequence. For some reason there are 2 different sequences, one on mobile and one on Steam. Obviously this run is an outlier though. Sorry for the confusion.
Seems interesting, I'll make it but only if someone says they'll run it. It would take at least a few weeks though, it would definitely surpass the 338 hour Minecraft run. Also sorry for the late response.
