The value of gaining infinite height with the ranger is that it can be unlocked immediately, since if you retire your first hero, you're still given 200 gold. While there is currently no run that can take advantage of infinite height, we are still in the infancy of our game, and I'm certain more runs will come into existence.

If we did this, we would have to create a save-file in 'resources' that has everything maxed out, which will take a very long time (thanks to soul-shop upgrades, it takes somewhere around NG+70 to actually have everything, and then you have to max out mastery levels, charon donations, and the other small things people may forget about). While I'm not opposed to it, we'd have to get some assistance acquiring the file, and we'd have to know that there's enough interest to actually support the category (not everyone wants to download another person's file, and it's unlikely people would be willing to grind all the way to that point). Update: I have confirmed that we can get a file of that kind, but the question of interest still remains.
