Psychonauter has JP A version, but he's like the only one.
Backing up, what Journey and NokiDoki said. Audio is still necessary for the game, so keep that in mind, but we're likely to be lenient with that anyway.
So, yeah, if you upload with video footage in any way, capture card or video camera, that's fine.
USB loading and SD loading is banned. Homebrewing your Wii to allow region freeing isn't whatsoever, as long as you use don't use any Homebrew to load the game from something other than an original disc.
Most people try to avoid posting ISOs/ROMs publicly due to legal issues, and the like. For you or anyone else with this issue, if you can't or wont manage with Google, it's best to DM some of the more well known people in SMS on Discord or Twitter, as they're likely to either have one or know someone with one.
It is not exactly easy to make a convincing TAS, unless you're already familiar with Dolphin TAS tools, which many aren't. And Sunshine often perform the same or look the same visually, so it'd be very easy to spot.
Dolphin does not run well enough with Sunshine on many computers for it to be good to compare to proper console runs of the game. The likelihood of it having proper load times, proper handling of good, not lagging, or just not having some form of cheating in it are infinitely less likely than if you ran on a proper console. The only real reason it is on the leaderboards at all is to not discourage people who may not have proper hardware or capture equipment to play without it, so we allow it up to a certain point. While this point isn't at all unattainable fairly quickly for most, we also don't want to encourage the use of emulator at all.
every wr there has ever been is perfect and will never be beaten
Afaik it hasn't really come up, yeah. It's weird because the disc format is different from the OG GCN disks. Not sure how we handle it.
what if your computer cant handle a livestream on its own.
Then I guess you can't stream?
I submitted my best runs to you guys last time and you rejected them all (while allowing other runners 3 or 4 runs). Is there any reason I should submit this time?
Runs that we accept aren't determined by who submit them. We had around 5 people last time who looked through every single one and we voted on which ones we thought should be in. After that, we went through them again while in a call and Yes/No-ed what we had left to try and cut down the amount of hours to fit the time slot.
What I try to do after everything is just have the best of the stuff submitted in the marathon. It's not a personal thing, and it shouldn't be taken as such.
