So I want to learn the run, currently watching Boarum's run to do it, but I thought I'll ask if you can tell me what build to do(what skills and stats to level and in what order) and what to look for on gear? Also glitches in a run, how to perform them?

I'm not running RE7 nor intend to, but one thing interests me. Has anyone checked if different language versions are faster than other and if so by how much? I mean, many times during a run you just wait for characters to stop talking, so I wouldn't be surprised if some dubs save time there on being faster to say

IIRC if you open menu mid-step, you won't get encounter on this step. You could do this repeatedly to avoid all the encounters. I'm unsure if to count this as glitch(and thus ban it in glitchless) However I think it definitely should be banned for North Bridge% as it would make run straight out dumb(as there is no mandatory fights in the run)

So, what could we submit GTA2 related for the event?

My idea was to do 3-way race(me, Tez, Word) of any% or Wang cars or both plus downtown all mission solo run(done either by Tez or Word, possibly me if I learn it before marathon and get respectable time). All this can be done in under 2h, so I think it could be easy fit for marathon.

What do you think? Any other ideas?

If I want to start timer upon pressing Start on title screen, what delay should I set in my timer?

So I've been theoretizing if doing 15-puzzle in any% to get Emergency Exit to save time on exiting cave after Vampire would be worth it. Haven't done any testing so all statements below are pure theory

Time wasted to get Emergency exit: Best case scenario: 35s(don't remember if it's 2nd place only Kappa ) Worst case: 65s

Time saved on exiting Earth Cave: Comparing against 0 encouters on way back: couple seconds on best case 15-puzzle?(don't know how much this would take) Realisticly: tens of seconds + skiping potential encouters with Piscodemons, Cockatrices and poisoners

So I have GC memory card(3rd party, 64MB) and on it there's save data for some of my PAL games. I recently got NTSC-US GC with some games. Would it be possible to store save data for games from both regions on 1 memory card without any problems or should I buy another one?

So I was thinking of routing/doing All missions glitched, but there are thins I think should be established beforehand:

1. Should be allowed to first kill Dark Falz and then do missions?
2. If yes, should be allowed to save+quit after killing Falz?

Why asking? My route idea is basically like this - glitch, do Forest, Caves, Mines and Ruins and then start doing missions as you should effortlessly do Forest(and possibly Caves) missions wothout glitching.

I run Phantasy Star for MasterSystem and I really hate this game - it's OK speedgame aside boring 2h+ grind in middle and last two bosses which are overpowered(even casually). Aside that I also run Resident Evil Remake(Wii) and Diablo 2(PC) and plan to run Phantasy Star 2(Genesis) and Heracles no Eikou(obscure Famicom JRPG)
