@VirtualCoins you’re contradicting yourself. First you say that they for sure are cheating, then you say that you don’t know.
@VirtualCoins but most of them were mistakes on the moderator's part or on the super mod's. You made an accusation that people are cheating in their stats page runs, unwarranted.
@VirtualCoins there is no definitive proof that anyone cheated runs by using the Hypixel site. Only run we’ve removed from being unreasonable is Vixon/Gardevoir’s 33 second Solo run.
I actually disagree with removing all Stats site runs. It’s easily 3/4 of the entire leaderboard and some people who legitimately got these times would be wrongly rejected.
There’s a few things we check for on the Stats page to see if it’s legitimate or not. We check the time of the game, the amount of kills each player has, and the winner. In the case of the winner, if the person submitting didnt win, it would be rejected. In the other cases, if either have an unreasonable amount, they’re also rejected.
I see no reason to not have these runs, since they also could be valid. We started flagging them as EMU when we got one to show that it has no definitive proof and is only shown on the stats site.
Sorry that this took so long for a moderator to respond.
We had the idea of enforcing video evidence for each run before, and it almost happened in fact. We decided to enforce it ANY FUTURE top 3 runs instead. This was enforced, I wanna say September 2019? Any runs that are top 3 and before that are valid, as we said any runs after the timeframe will be rejected if Top 3. Of course, if the mistake has been made that there is a Top 3 run with no video evidence verified after the timeframe, please let us know in the Suggestion Thread.
The rule was enforced almost directly after Vixon/Gardevoir's 33 second solo run was removed for having an unreasonable time. If you have any questions, please feel free to put them in this thread.
Why is this game on Speedrun.com? This game goes directly against Speedrun.com's game rules, where no PvP games are allowed, as well as no online games where the run depends on what type of players you get. Shouldn't this be removed?
Best bet is to switch to computer and get good at that. Overtime you’ll get better and better. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a speedrun where the mobile version has a WR faster than the PC or even Console versions.
I've made a Discord for TDS Speedrunning: https://discord.gg/U957dJa
I've made it so you can submit up to 8 people in your runs, so you can now show the other profiles running in your submission.
And I know there's an official TDS discord, but how would you guys feel about a TDS Speedrunning Discord?
Currently I have an idea for all maps, being that you have to beat all maps on a specific difficulty/player count with subcategories, but also time inbetween picking maps doesn't count, so you just add up all your end times.
It can be a screenshot, but video is recommended.
For those unknowing, the full Baldi's Basics is going into early access on June 12th, 2020. All categories have been removed from this board and moved over to https://speedrun.com/baldice .
They've been moved into a "2018 Demo" category.
These boards are not being used until June 12th, 2020 when the full game releases on Steam. Any submissions for this game (that aren't people who got early access to the game) will be automatically rejected.
Once again, any and all 2018 Demo/Full Game Demo submissions go to https://speedrun.com/baldice .
Thank you.
Speedrun.com does not allow that. If I am wrong and they do, i still wouldn’t do it. I use the view all option for the player subcategory with the most runs.
Are you sure he doesn’t just click 2 times every tenth of a second? :thonk:
Requesting https://www.speedrun.com/baldi Game type changed from prerelease to normal (In order to get ready for the release of Baldi's Basics+, the full game, on June 12th, 2020) Name changed from "Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning" to "Baldi's Basics +"
I'm going to add the demo categories to a sub-game or Category Extensions, likely into the CE.
You'd be surprised at how fast /, a, and h can be typed. Copy + Paste is allowed too.
Then how does it work? Do they just have the old coil and that got transferred over to the new version?
