How could running into another branch to prepare for a different one help? And time would start when you enter the other branch to prepare.
The wording is still pretty specific, enough so to consider this matter closed.
I don't quite understand what you mean, but if you are asking if you can prepare a branch beforehand for in Il category, no you cannot. For the run to count, it must be the first time you enter the branch.
This is against the rules as the exposition button in the Freebie room specifically states "You may only take ONE freebie wool".
I don't see why not. Timing would end as soon as you dye the wool I suppose, although frankly I'm not sure how much faster it would be.
Get that wool, and preserve it out using the arrow method. Timing ends once you teleport and keep the wool.
The only branch that I can think of being remotely possible to preserve dye out of is the Adventure branch, but I don't believe we get any dye from that branch.
How could you possibly bring and preserve colored wool from anywhere but the survival branch?
That's allowed, as its within the bedrock box marking the outlines of the survival branch.
Did it? Well then that will remain a redundant category then. Do not post runs there of that leaderboard.
It means get the brown wool via the preserve method. I believe there are cocoa beans inside one of the dungeon chests to dye a wool. You can then preserve it out via the arrow method.
I'm not sure what you mean. Could you rephrase the question?
Well then I can't help you. Windows XP is over 15 years old, what do you expect? Did you try updating your net framework?
So, trying some All Advancements speedruns when I find out that CBenni's timer doesn't work for 1.12. I've also never gotten the Cubitect timer to work, which means I've got no IGT timer for 1.12.
Are there other, accurate, methods for tracking IGT time? And how does installing the Cubitext timer work anyway (even though chances are that it won't work in 1.12)?
Use CBenni's timer, which can be downloaded here: https://mega.nz/#!PgRA0DoD!FY1PWCS7EHLtPmASh_7KyOVQpLVPXeWkn-zcGYAekxU
Try WSplit. Or you can try googling for more timers. It doesn't have to be super professional, as long as you can start it and stop it accurately, and it counts time accurately. an IGT timer is more important anyway, and your run could be accepted with just an IGT timer.
l4m2, being in complete survival mode doesn't mean that there are no restrictions. There is no rule outright stating that you are allowed to place blocks on the outside of the bedrock box for the intent of altering the redstone. It is still a grey area. Everything is a grey area, but some are more grey than others, this being one of those. And either way, we still have a perfectly legal method of preserving items. Therefore, for the time being, those other methods of preserving items via altering the redstone are prohibited.
Figure something out. I myself once tried to use Fraps until I discovered how useless it was for instances like this. Try using OBS. It's free, and it's a screen capture, not a window capture, meaning you can capture multiple screens at once. As for livesplit not working, I can't help you there. Just google help advice.
Also, Zypher, the arrow method is a fully allowed preserve method for both Survival Branch Only, and normal preserve catagories.
