This seems very luck-dependent, but good job
Yes, there are very little gameplay differences between the two versions. The runs for the same level but different version still look the same. And, both NetEase and Global players have an equal amount of records. The exception is the candle related categories, such as “all chevrons”
What happened to all your videos, first of all?
Also, it was decided due to a poll

Given that nobody has responded, I will institute the ban, but I will think about it again if anyone has any complaints.

I have been notified of many Trials being ran using the chibi fall glitch to quickly beat it. I am not sure whether to reject or allow these. A poll will need to be created, what do people here think about it?

No, you don’t run the water trial with the chibi mask.
Please make sure to put your speedruns in the right version, especially the Water Trial. You can edit or resubmit your run with the correct version.
确保您的运行设置为正确的版本,尤其是预言洞穴中的试水。您可以使用正确的版本编辑或重新提供您的运行。
Why do all Water Trial speedrunners have the same "hands behind" position when running? Is it for good looks, or is there a gameplay advantage?
为什么所有水上试跑者在跑步时都采用相同的“手放在后面”的姿势?是为了好看,还是有玩法优势?
Some mod advice:
General: There is a useful trick I call “slideflying” or “wavedashing.” If you’re sliding any distance, no matter how short, rising when you’re doing so will cause an almost “upgraded” way of flying. You’ll be able to go much farther and higher using closed cape flight mode. It’s incredibly useful in the Isle and Prairie runs, as well as generally applicable.
Isle: Instead of having to go through a temple, speedrunners use two methods to save time. The first is going above the temple by coasting along the right edge of the screen: https://www.speedrun.com/thatskygame/run/ydg700xy
If you time it well, you can fly along the right-most wind walls. Although it’s the most difficult, it’s still useful because Isle can be easily practiced and refined over and over in an NG+ run.
Then there’s the old strategy: https://www.speedrun.com/thatskygame/run/z1oq9k7m
This one involves a chibi mask, but there’s still some useful things. Only the first wind wall is used, using a tiny bit of time to boost your speed massively. They also never touch the ground until the end, only using butterflies to coast through Isle.
Prairie: Although it’s mostly okay, slide flying can save you here. Using slide flying, you can directly fly all the way from the central WL shrine area to the Elder Temple, with room to spare. Also, make use of the wind walls: https://www.speedrun.com/thatskygame/run/yj5wd43m
Forest: Although the Belonging skip is okay, it’s sub-optimal compared to the Treehouse skip: https://www.speedrun.com/thatskygame/run/yjxj1joz
Valley: Similar things here, using the Village of Dreams saves valuable minutes of time.
https://www.speedrun.com/thatskygame/run/z1rpd7gm
Wasteland and Vault are mostly fine.
Eden: Although your skip in the very first area is fine, it may be worth it to try practicing flying directly to the pipe area.
And that’s it! I hope to see more of your speedrunning endeavors in the future.
This video shows a glitch that is basically a horizontal version of Piggyback rocketing. There are 2 versions: a short distance and a long distance. The short distance only requires a table and 2 players, while the long distance requires either (2 players, a table, and a cosmetic change area nearby) or (3 players, a table, and an additional prop). Let's see this new glitch in action!
