Finally! It's not an amazing run, and there are plenty of awkward bits in it, but there are no deaths or other dramatic time losses. Good enough for me for now.
Played on an AV Famicom and recorded using a RetroTink 5X-Pro. Final time determined by counting frames in Avidemux. I'm not sure why the bottom of the game capture is cut off in this recording; I probably have some crop settings misconfigured in the RetroTink. The audio in this recording is remastered to normalize the mic level; this was the first test of a new microphone.
With the release of the new Nintendo "Game & Watch" which includes an official emulation port of the NES and Famicom "The Legend of Zelda" these versions are allowed for speedrunning purposes, because as far as we can tell, they play exactly the same as the NES versions (subject to change if other d
