I was wondering what equipment is needed to speedrun. I have a pretty fast computer: Intel i7-4790K a 4Ghz 8core CPU with 16Gigs of RAM. But my video card is only a GTX970 by Nvidia. I don't see the kind of frame rates that the speedrunners have 200-300fps I only get about 60 fps. Perhaps I need to cripple my video quality. Any tips would be appreciated. Also after Talos release 326589 I don't see the paint spawn in A6 when it used to spawn. What are the new paint spawn rules? What about the discord invitation? Could I get one?

Your setup is well off enough to get decent FPS. Make sure you are on Lowest quality and on Unlimited framerate.

Be sure to keep level caching on ultra for fast loading though.

You probably just have a different paint set now. Paint sets can be found here for maps with 4 possible spawn locations, and here for maps with 3 possible spawn locations.
