He submitted runs with 0.001 as the timer and never gonna give you up as the video and the mods verified them. I love this community.

This is why auto-verifications are a bad idea.

The mods didn't verify them, and no it doesn't make auto verifications a bad thing as they can just as easily be rejected.

Auto-verification isn't bad, people's attitude by trolling is bad.

it also doesn't happen very often. This is the first time I've seen it in months, at the very least. So I don't think we need an "auto-bot" unless it gets way worse, rejecting 1 crazy WR claim a year or whatever seems easier than making a bot system. (i knocked on wood for jinxing it, so we good)

For a game with this many people submitting new PBs every day, requiring mods to verify every run would simply be busy-work. It's much easier to just moderate runs after-the-fact if the runner tries to claim a top time with no video, or a dodgy video.

A fake WR only gets submitted a few times a year, and stays up for a few hours at most. I think the tradeoff is acceptable there.
