First of all, this post is not intended to disparage Palikka (the runner) or accuse him of cheating in any way. I have no reason to believe that his run was performed illegitimately.

In his world record run, there is noticeable background music through the entire run. My understanding is that this could be used to hide splices or editing in a video (which should be against the rules, and I believe it is).

Pretty reasonable :D But is it cool to play some music very quietly in the background just because grinding runs can become kinda boring?

Can you use your phone w/ headphones? Or perhaps exclude mic input entirely?
