Updated Any% Classic Route

- This guide should work for Any% as well if you ignore weapon and trap restrictions
- On console, make sure you uninstall any DLC or addons for Any% Classic
- On PC, don't use the XP amp or the right and bottom traps for Any% Classic (I'd suggest swapping the fire trap in during a night defense)
- Jumping before fast traveling using the map skips the drinking animation, but isn't necessary for challenge travels
Horror Night!
- Start timer as soon as you gain control. The HUD appears on the same frame.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene after jumping up where the billboard is.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene where you grab the Flaming Compensater.
- SKIP: Let the Hurker kill you.
- Mash B after "17 Days Later" to SKIP customization.
Awesomepocalype
- Rail Dash unlocked.
- Load Checkpoint skip the cutscene after grabbing the crowbar.
- Skip the first set of OD in the basketball court by instantly killing the first one out of the sewer grate with the flaming compensator
One Man's Trash...
- Keep moving when talking to Floyd
Amp it Up
- No special notes.
Amptastic!
- When the "equip stuff" message appears, run to the parking lot. Complete the tutorial there.
- Wait for it to bring up the start menu
- Turn valve right away after returning to Floyd
- Load checkpoint to skip the cutscene on the podium (works for all podium cutscenes)
- Save dirty harry ammo after killing herker
- Complete the mission.
- Equip Bear Force One on Dirty Harry.
- Equip new Melee and Hero Amps.
A Way Out
- Collectables unlocked.
- SKIP: Killing all Scabs before the countdown starts skips the countdown.
- If you miss the skip, you can grab a PAPER on the bridge during the countdown
- After the Chaos Squad cutscene (no cutscene on PC), grab the NEON SIGN (1/10) nearby.
- After grabbing the sign challenge travel (use pause menu to select challenge) to Traverse #2.
A New Friend
- Challenge travel to smash Fizzco Stuff #1
- You don't need to go to the dock. Grab the NEON SIGN (2/10) on the way.
- Smash 2 CAMERAs on the roof CAMERA (2/10) and grab a BALLOON (1/5) on the station roof.
- After saving Sam from the storage, roll forward after cutscene.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene introducing Blowers
- Smash a CAMERA (3/10) above the gate during the protect Sam battle.
- Grab the NEON SIGN (3/10) on the other side of the gate during the protect Sam battle.
- Grab the NEON SIGN (4/10) on the cooling tower after grabbing the first one.
- Follow mission until you're on the train.
- Smash the CAMERA (4/10) you go past on the train. It's by some Blowers on your right.
- When the train stops, grab the PAPER (1/5) next to you.
- Smash the CAMERA (5/10) immediately after getting off the train.
- Stay near Sam until he starts walking to base.
- Take your time on the next few steps; if you get too far from Sam he despawns.
- Grab the NEON SIGN (5/10) behind the building near the river.
- Grab the BALLOON (2/5) and smash the CAMERA (6/10) on the rooftops across the road.
- When he says "one more thing" go get the last NEON SIGN (6/10) and PAPER (2/5). (Seemed to be able to leave earlier on PC version)
Bora Bora Water
- Tap Y and then press and hold to turn valves.
- Grab NEON SIGN (7/10) on the way to the first valve, on your right.
- Grab NEON SIGN (8/10) on first water pulse.
- Grab NEON SIGN (9/10) on the second water pulse.
- Let the Spawner come to you on the rooftop, don't attack it.
- Grab the BALLOON (3/5) on the third water pulse.
- Do not fast travel back to base.
- On the way back to the base there is a NEON SIGN (10/10) on the left side of the street.
Boo-Boo Overdrive
- Water Dash unlocked.
- Badges unlocked.
- Play main file before starting a run to skip the badge cutscene here. (PC only? Unsure from copied note)
- Follow mission until you call Boo-Boo twice.
- Grab 2 NEON SIGNS (12/10) on the way to Cutie Kitty
- Shoot 2 CAMERAs (8/10) on the way back from Cutie Kitty to Boo Boo
- Follow mission until you cross the bridge with Boo-Boo.
- Grab PAPER (3/5) on the right side of bridge
- Grab PAPER (4/5) on the left side of the bridge
- Grab PAPER (5/5) as you reach the intersection.
- Grab PAPER (6/5) after killing scabs.
Max's Parents
- Grab the BALLOON (5/5) from the roof to the bush above the parasail.
- Grab the BALLOON (6/5) above the boat in the river.
- At the base of the tower, blow up the barrels to kill Scabs and blow up a CAMERA (9/10).
- There are six skips as you climb the tower.
- SKIP: Jump from orange tent onto the corner shack thing. 2 wall jumps in the corner then a wall run, then jump and climb up, grind beam and jump around the wall.
- SKIP: At the first wall you blow up, you can just jump around it.
- SKIP: An undergrind flip throws you high enough to make this jump.
- SKIP: After landing the previous skip, an undergrind flip plus a wall jump gets you up to the next rail.
- SKIP: One more undergrind flip will get you to the final harpoon.
- SKIP: On the final harpoons, an undergrind flip from the first harpoon gets you to the roof.
- After picking up the phone, wait for the objective marker to appear, then challenge travel to Bomb Deliver #1.
- After the mission, challenge travel to Traversal Challenge #2.
Buck National vs. The Apocalypse
- Super Bounce unlocked.
- SKIP (Cutscene): While talking to Buck as soon as the marker appears, challenge travel to Buck National Challenge #1.
- Follow mission until you accept the challenge.
- Every time you complete an objective, the challenge timer freezes. Get to 50,000 points with as few objectives as possible.
- On the two silos above the train track, there is a BALLOON (7/5) on one and a NEON SIGN (13/10) on the other.
- In the back-left corner is another NEON SIGN (14/10).
- South side of challenge there is a CAMERA (10/10) to smash
- After the challenge, challenge travel to Smash Fizzco Stuff #1
- After grabbing computer parts, challenge travel to Bomb Delivery #1.
- After the mission, challenge travel to Traversal Challenge #2.
Midnight Brew - (NEEDS 5 BALLOONS)
- Place the third trap as soon as possible, then return to valve.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene on the podium (works for all podium cutscenes)
- Once defense starts, smash the nearby CAMERA (11/10).
- There are many CAMERAs and PAPER you can grab during this event if you are short
- Complete the mission.
- Buy Moving Menace for 10 NEON SIGNS from Amp Store
- Challenge travel to Points Challenge #2.
- Unlock and equip:
- Moving Menace to Dirty Harry
- Bear Force One onto Flaming Comp
- Burn Baby on TNTeddy
- New Dive Bomb and Hero Amps.
- Ammo Capacity Automatic (top left combat)
- Ammo Capacity Single-Shot (top middle combat)
- Single-shot damage (bottom right combat)
- Fire Damage (top left hero)
- Bounce Style Overdrives (top right style)
Up in the Air
- After talking to Walter challenge travel to Traversal Challenge #5.
- Barrel roll left all the way to corner street of brewery (don't worry about power)
- Barrel roll right stay within 100m of blimp.
- First power is across river up high.
- Second power is near the corner where the blimp turns 90 degrees.
- Keep to blimp's right, hit the power on the high-rise and race it home.
Big Trouble in Little Tokyo
- Challenge travel to Episode 2 Buck Strikes Back.
It's Me! Fizzie!
- Air Dash unlocked.
- Challenge travel to Smash TVs.
- SKIP: Slasher bot cutscene, run up the street then shoot the power thing with Dirty Harry.
- Hit the 2 platforms in the center, keep shooting fizzie
- Complete the mission.
Hot Dog!
- Slam Bounce unlocked.
- Grab the Fizzie Core from the mission Fizzie: The Inside Story and bring it to hot dog factory.
- SKIP: Core clip into hotdog factory and grab phone.
- After the mission screen, challenge travel to Points Challenge #3.
Find 4Kim
- After the mission, fast travel to Hepcat's Diner.
- PAPER right after the mission if needed.
Hepcat's Late-Night Special - (NEEDS 5 PAPER)
- Double tap the valve.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene on the podium (works for all podium cutscenes)
- Run forwards tapping Y after challenge.
- Swap the following:
- Winter is Coming onto murderang
- Epic amp to Chance of lightning
- Grind style for auto weapon damage (bottom left combat)
- Upgrade badges (priority damage)
Bryllcream
- Get to the Fizzco bots.
- SKIP: After killing the bots, climb the stairs to the right, then slam bounce up to the ledge.
- SKIP: Slam bounce again to reach the roof.
- Stare at the museum first (midrange-ish).
- Aim far right for beeping.
- On second satellite wait for marker then challenge travel to One Handed Dragon.
- As the truck falls out of the parking structure, there's a CAMERA right in front of you.
The Fall of Emperor Norton
- Use TNTeddy to blow up all the spikes.
- Complete the mission.
- After the mission, challenge travel to Bomb Delivery #5.
To Fargarthia!
- No special notes.
The King's Feast
- Go outside and start the NPCs moving
- Purchase turret copter at the corner store during escort.
- After the mission, fast travel to Troop Bushido, and run north.
Tastes Like Chicken
- Complete the mission.
Bad Medicine
- Challenge travel to Traversal Challenge #10.
- After the mission, fast travel to the Harbor.
Ferry to Nowhere - (NEEDS 10 CAMERAS)
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene on the podium (works for all podium cutscenes)
- Complete the mission.
- Before menuing, fast travel to Fargarthia.
- Swap and equip:
- Amp roll to Air power
- Stun rounds on turret copter
- Upgrade Overdrives.
Siege of WonderTown Land
- Stupid jumpy OD here, use Flaming Compensator or Dirty Harry
- Complete the mission.
- After the mission, fast travel to Fargarthia.
Floating Garbage
- SKIP: You can Out of Bounds travel the boat by killing the controls and then moving out of bounds.
- Load checkpoint skip the cutscene after the mission complete screen.
A Hero's Duty
- Challenge travel to Bomb Delivery #4.
- Follow mission until all Fizzco bots are killed.
- When Sam's marker appears, Challenge travel to Bomb Delivery #1
- Complete the mission.
- After the mission, challenge travel to Traversal Challenge #13. (must wait for HUD)
Las Catrinas
- No special notes.
Awesomesmithing
- Run north along the road.
- Follow mission until you've collected the trophies. wait for source metals talk a little bit.
- Fast travel to POWER PLANT.
- SKIP: On the second loop around the cooling tower, you can super bounce off the vents to reach the rail above.
- Follow mission until dive bomb into water treatment plant.
- After dive bomb, fast travel to Las Catrinas.
- To kill the boss Fizzco bot, jump on to a car and mash B to send non-stop lightning at it or if you have max style you can point blank slam him 2-3 times
- After the mission, get inside the hospital.
Getting the Band Back Together
- Challenge travel to Bomb Delivery #6.
- After boats run west to 4kim.
- Follow mission until after taiko drum section.
- Complete the mission.
- After mission, fast travel to Downtown.
Concertpocalypse
- As long as one generator survives, you win. Focus on one and leave the other two.
- Complete the mission.
- Upgrade Overdrives.
This Ends Here
- After killing the 4 Groups of enemies you don't have to use the harpoon. You can go straight to the bottle, while waiting for dialog.
- Wait for dialog to start ("Wait, I've got it!") after killing big robots to avoid glitch where you can't break bottle.
- While running to the building the first time you can use the roof vents to bounce and take out the power core with the Dirty Harry.
- Stop timer when The Building's health is depleted. The timer at the top of the screen disappears on the same frame.
