Recently, a character pack known as "Chaotix Characters" was released, with a new version of Espio with a different jump ability.

Is there gonna be a new Character dropdown for this version to separate the runs, or will it simply be a matter of the mod character version dropdown?

From what we can see, there has only been 3 runs of old Espio, these have been changed with the dropdown version "Legacy", and future versions will just run "current". The general consensus to boards is to attempt to run with the most up to date version as possible, this is to make it highly available to as many runners as possible and also respect the original creators.

Hope that helps. Sadly there's no easy fix and monitoring to this kind of thing since there is a sort of endless amount of mods out there.
