however, it's unlikely this category will be accepted as it would very likely be exactly the same as any% 2p (afaik assist mode or amiibo don't provide any speedy assistance).
Bowser (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Bowser wedding outfit and reveals location of regional coins. Mario (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Mario wedding outfit and grants temporary invincibility. Peach (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Peach wedding outfit and gives a Life-Up Heart.

So, yeah, I don't think Amiibo would do anything for Any%. I wonder how the "temporary invincibility" works, though. Is it like grabbing a Power Star in the 2D games? Where you insta-kill / damage enemies on contact? If so, maybe that could be used to speed up the Bowser fights?
Unlocking outfits instantly could technically save some coin grinding for 100% too I think? Unless those outfits are considered "Special" outfits that don't count towards completion.
iirc, the invincibility granted from the mario amiibo just makes you not lose any health when hitting an enemy but the knockback still happens when you get hit. (pretty sure the star theme isn't even original smh nintendo)
TheGoodGoomba is correct, i saw someone use one for superstar mode, it looks like the star powerup from previous game but you still get knocked down, so not super useful. Also what does the bowser one mean when it says "shows regional coin locations" is that on the map or in gameplay? Its once again not useful for any% or really anything its just something ive never heard of before
