Hey, I've been working on 100% completion for Superhot VR and decided to check out the speedrunning scene. I'm confused as to why the any% category requires a fresh save and doesn't allow the use of the Reset Progress chip in the game. As far as I'm aware it wouldn't change anything timing wise. Could you explain why it is the way it is?

Back when the rules were made there was no reset disc. I haven't looked into the differences between file erase and the reset disc. It's probably fine assuming it really resets your progress.
