I want to run tutorial and I keep getting 42 second times at best. My car feels slow compared to the world record. Are there any tips?
I definitely have a few tips: For unlimited boost runs, try to think of it more as constantly popping the ball up every half a second rather than actually dragging the ball. Dragging the ball is more prone to one small mistake that gets the ball falling, but if you get in a position where you’re just constantly doing small pops on the ball vertically, it’s easy to get as long of a time you want (the only thing stopping you is the lack of focus on your screen) . I hope this helped!
Sorry! I just reread the post and saw it’s for tutorial. For tutorial:
- Make sure whenever you are at a spot when you are just driving, have the arrow (the direction from your joystick) perfectly parallel with the surface you are on. If you are pointing at an angle slightly to the ground, you are not getting the maximum speed you can. Same thing goes for curved and walls, make sure you smoothly move your joystick in line with the curve. As for the actual efficiency of movement, it’ll probably take runs and practice
One last tip: watch competition and take notes on the wr run (you can gain a lot of info from watching the wr in slow motion)
