I am the founder of the Railway Empire speedrunning community and currently hold numerous Railway Empire speedrun world records. This video is evidence of the first Railway Empire speedrun ever! This speedrun was submitted to request that Railway Empire as a game should be speedrun. I performed the run on 5/22/2022. It is the first and as of this upload only 'full game' speedrun of Railway Empire. I finish all 5 of the base game's Chapters back-to-back in 2h 39m 05s.

For a walkthrough of each chapter - check out my other videos. I challenge everyone that loves this game to try speedrunning it. I find that speedrunning makes me focus very specifically on the tasks at hand to complete them without concern for other areas of the game. I need to spend money wisely, generate income to permit expansion, fend off competitors and focus on the tasks assigned. I think it's a blast. Please use these videos as a template for your own speedrun or use it to find flaws in my strategy and come up with a better route. Or maybe they simply help you in your casual playthroughs in an area where you get stuck.
