A guide really isn't necessary for the first part of this game. The hard part is just figuring out which way to go. So here's map detailing the layout of the area, where to go, and exact instructions of what to do and what order you need to do them in.

Jungle Confrontation Guide

Jungle Confrontation is the last part of the game. It is also a bit of a maze but thankfully very few actual screens that force the player to choose one of 2 paths.

For newer runners, the most important part of Jungle Confrontation is the first 2 screens. Never take the same path twice at the start. What I mean by this is say you take the left path first...Don't take the left path again on the next screen. You will merely loop around back to where you started.

This also applies to the right path too. The reason for avoiding going right-right at the start is different though. In this case, you'll wind up going down the longest route to the boss room.

Here's a map I created to kind of show what I'm talking about here.

As you can see 3 of the 4 possible places you can go at the start will at least lead you to the end eventually and one of them leads you down the optimal path. Admittedly, this is a very tough map to understand as I used the red pointer of the in-game compass to create it.

So to make this whole thing easier to understand, here's the paths to take for the optimal route:

Tunnels Guide (w/ Map by Dammit9X)

Tunnels is a rather interesting part of the game. Navigating it isn't too tricky to figure out either as you are given a map in-game with your exact positioning and direction you're facing.

The goal here is to get 2 sets of flares and the compass so you can escape through the "non-blocked" exit.

The map provided courtesy of Dammit9X of Gamefaqs (all credits to him for the making of this) details all rooms you can visit in here as well as the exact location of each crucial item you need to advance the game to the next part.

In a speedrun, your first step is to grab the first set of flares in the top left corner of the map provided above. This should go without saying since your starting location very close to it.

From there, it's debatable whether it's faster to go for the second set of flares first and then the compass or vice versa. Normally I go for the compass next but I've been tempted to try out the other way too so it's really up to you.
