as you might know, the first (and final) patch fixed a significant amount of strats for the game. as such, most runners have been downpatching for runs, which is a process that has kept a lot of runners from ever trying the run past the final patch's release.
well...
i'm happy to announce that the developers have pushed a beta branch to Steam to allow us to more easily play the launch version! this is a super easy and accessible way to play on the launch version!
HOW TO ACCESS:
- in Steam, right click Pepper Grinder and open the Properties menu
- go to the Betas tab and click the dropdown beside Beta Participation
- Click "speedrun - Launch Build" and download the launch version!
congrats, you're all set up on the release version of the game! i'm super excited that this game has become more accessible due to this change - no more messing with any files just to play the game!
