The preferred emulator if you're playing or practicing PSX. This is from the latest stable release from August 19th, 2024 (in case the emulator gets removed at a later time).

These plugins aren't always required, but are sometimes needed in order for the PC port to run correctly on some modern hardware. 

**Instructions**: Put both .dlls in the same directory that the game was installed. (eg. *"C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Dash2"*)

Shoutout to apel from the MML Speedrunning Discord for recommending this program to me. This forces DASH 2 PC to run in windowed mode since the game forces fullscreen by default.

D3DWindower (for DASH2 PC)

This is Capcom's officially released patch for Legends 2's PC port. From their patch notes (Google translated from Japanese to English):

- Equipped with "Maximum Buster" from the start.
- Physical strength is at MAX
- The amount of Zenny you earn will be doubled.

How to install (again, translated from their archived website):

a. Download the patch file (dash2patch_easy.exe) to your desktop or any folder of your choice. (**Note**: This may or may not be accurate. To be safe, extract to where the game is installed)

b. Double-click the downloaded file (dash2patch_easy.exe) to automatically update to the latest data.

(**Note**: In order for the patched version to run, you **MUST** have the original disc image mounted, otherwise, **the game will give you an error and won't launch.**)

Easy Mode Patch (for Rockman DASH 2 PC)

Original code credit to davintheraven @ gamehacking(dot)net. For JP Dash 2 on PSX, allows Easy, Normal, Hard and Very Hard mode to be unlocked at the start.




Rockman DASH 2 (JP/PSX) All Difficulties GS Code

The .zip contains three different files: .mcs is for single-file saves, .mcr is also an extension used by Duckstation and OEM memory cards, and .mcd is specifically a memory card image. 

All difficulties are selectable from new game.


Rockman DASH 2 (JP/PSX, Duckstation + Console) All Difficulties Save 

Duckstation save state for Rockman DASH 2 (JP) that starts you at the 4 difficulty options. (From top to bottom: "Easy", "Normal", "Hard", "Very Hard")

Rockman DASH 2 (JP/PSX, Duckstation Savestate) All Difficulties

The save data goes in the same folder as the game install, usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Dash2".

Rockman DASH 2 (PC) All Difficulties Unlocked

Since this port is now considered abandonware, there shouldn't be any issues linking to it for those who want to run it (courtesy of myabandonware(dot)com). (**Note**: I recommend using WinCDEmu or PowerISO to mount the .ISO)

If someone requests for this to be removed, it will be.


Rockman DASH 2 PC (Abandonware)

Thanks to [Princess_Eev](https://www.speedrun.com/users/Princess_Eev) for bringing it to my attention! Little documentation is known about this release, so I will be updating this overtime when more information becomes available, but could be useful for testing.

**Instructions**: Replace the existing "dash2.exe" with "dash2(HK).exe" in the game's directory, and copy and paste "title.dat" into the game directory's "dat" folder. 

**(Information taken from Internet Archive): "Press F11 to bring up debug HUD. Press F12 or F2-5 to instantly save to one of the 5 save slots including during cutscenes!"**

(**Note**: This is not to be confused with the other Mega Man Legends 2 debug ISO that exists for PSX)


Rockman DASH 2 PC (Honk Kong, Debug)
