I'm not 100% certain, but there may be more than one version of SMW.

i tried it in the usa version, then in the jpn and europe version and it didn't work

The error message "this patch not intended for this ROM" usually shows up when you have a corrupted version of SMW. Or a version of SMW that's already been patched.

Make sure the SMW ROM that you (legally) obtained is clean. It should be 512KB, whereas the hacks you patch should be something else, usually 1024, 2048, or 4096KB.
